33 years on in the fishing industry, I have had years of hands on experience. I currently consult to the south pacific fishing industry. I am a honest keen hard worker, A Lateral thinker, with the ability to think strategically. Having worked on many fishing ventures and boats, I have basic engineering skills. I have lived worked and travelled overseas many times, working with many cultures. A New Zealand citizen.

For four years prior to moving to the pacific, I managed a fishing company in NZ , with 120 staff 4 of our own vessels and up to 24 private operators. I took the company in 30 months from a Loss to a 5 Million profit. I understand computers, basic accounting, and profit and Loss. The company was sold and with it the challenge so I moved on. I enjoy tough jobs and hands on operation. I enjoy grass root projects, Health wise I am a little over weight ( have been all my life) but otherwise fit and well. 1995 - 1997 General Manager Nagi Tahu Pacific Fisheries Ltd. : A Joint venture between Scales Corporation and Ngai Tahu Fisheries Ltd (the fishing arm of the Local Iwi, or Maori Tribe) : Responsibilities Included : 3-6 Staff and four Russian trawlers on charter with up to 320 seamen, Duties included day to day management, marketing and the catching of Ngai Tahu's inshore quota. :
